Inspiration from Martin Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke these words in a speech in Washington, D.C. in February 1968. They were published in In My Own Words, a collection of King’s sermons,, speeches and writings selected by his widow, Coretta. His words remain one of the most uplifting messages of the great civil rights leader’s legacy—that the challenges that weigh us down today should never dissuade us from imagining a better, more just, and more love-filled future.
