There is a lot of misinformation about the impact of off-shore wind power on the health and safety of marine mammals. The recent slew of whale deaths on the New Jersey Shore has been hypocritically used by fossil fuel interests to try to kill the off-shore wind power industry in New Jersey.

It's not just abortion that is at stake–it's same-sex relationships and same-sex marriage. It's the right to contraception. All of these hard-fought rights–and many others–are at stake.
There are several things we can do RIGHT NOW to ensure that abortion in NJ remains safe and legal.
Finally, make sure to breathe. We are in for a long fight, and we need to stay strong and focused to combat Republicans who aim to send us back to the 1950s. Take a breath but keep fighting.

Good news! The Senate has passed S864 to ban plastic bags, styrofoam food containers, and require straws to be provided only upon request. Now it is up to the Assembly to pass a consistent bill with no weakening amendments for the strongest bill possible!
