Molly and Chris Foard: Praise for Councilwoman, Stephanie Keenan

Praise is in order for the clear initiative, intelligence and competence of our Little Silver Borough councilwoman, Stephanie Keenan. On a recent Zoom meeting of the Borough Council, a proposal for adding a composting site by Sickles Market was discussed, following up on a prior initial discussion of this issue by the Council. Mrs. Keenan appeared to be the lone member to have gathered additional first-hand information about the proposal, which she shared at the meeting, and she had also followed up to ascertain the facts behind residents’ reported concerns. Mrs. Keenan is running in November for a seat on Borough Council along with Joan Gotti on a platform of inclusiveness, environmental stewardship and government transparency. It is clear from her participation in the recent meeting that she has the characteristics needed to bring this to our town.
